I just never get tired of this view of Down Town L. A from the 1st Bridge. Soon this historic bridge will have the very modern Metro Link running through it , Old meets new!

Wow! The air looks so clean! When I was a kid down there in the 60s, the horizon was always brown.
I used to know a guy named James Rojas who, I think, had a gallery on Spring Street downtown. He's a transportation planner.
Amazing... The sky looks so beautiful :)
OMG, and you lived to tell the tale! I always loved the LA skyline when driving in. Looks like a few newer buildings block the full view of City Hall now. I don't even want to THINK what the air there did to my lungs in my youth. . .when you couldn't see the San Gabriels except during Santa Ana winds. It DOES look much better than Elaine and I grew up with.
