Greetings From The Happiest Place On Earth!

Not Los Angeles but close enough.
My husband works for the Disney ABC Networks so we have the Silver Ticket which allowed us go to the park for free, some times we take it for granted. I love to see the little girls dressed up as princesses and get greeted as such! "Welcome Princess"
Disneyland is magical during Christmas : )

Safari Sam's at the Regent Theatre

The Regent Theater is a landmark in the L.A downtown Art Scene and now Safari Sam's moved in.
We love the fact that the Club brings a very interesting crowd to the neighborhood from cowboys to punk rockers.
Welcome Safari Sam's!
The mural on top of the Regent was done by a local photographer Ed Fuentes

Los Angeles car capital of the world news headline "They leave their car for the Metro" I drive 95 miles per day I wish I could take the Metro.

I was in San Fernando about 1:00 AM this morning looking for gas, This the lowest price I could find, As I am putting gas I look in front of me and there was this homeless man sleeping in the gas station parking lot. You don't usually see to many homeless people in San Fernando it is a very Spanish community and they help each other. Things are getting hard in L.A we might all be homeless by the time things start to get better!

Grauman's Chinese Theatre

It was once stated that “to visit Los Angeles and not see the Chinese is like visiting China and not seeing the Great Wall.” Grauman’s opulent, awe-inspiring presence and history has been a cornerstone of Hollywood for over 75 years.
From Clint Eastwood to Maurice Chevalier you are in good company at the theater.

SCI- Arc on Santa Fe Avenue

Founded in 1972, SCI-Arc was as a radical alternative to the conventional system of architectural education. Architect and educator Ray Kappe—formerly the chair of Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona, and director of SCI-Arc until 1987—leased an industrial building in Santa Monica, and, with a group of six faculty members and 75 students, started what they initially called the "New School," based on the concept of a "college without walls." Shelly Kappe, Ahde Lahti, Thom Mayne, Bill Simonian, Glen Small and Jim Stafford were among the founding faculty.

In 2000, SCI-Arc moved to the historic Santa Fe Freight Depot building in Downtown Los Angeles, where it plays an important cultural role in the area while engaging at various levels with the local community. The school continues its energetic commitment to experimentation and to examining the social and formal aspects of architecture.
